Scratch Intro.
|
Tutorial #1Intro. Option 1: Use the Scratch embedded tutorial to get started learning all the basic functions to code in Scratch. Click here then click "Create" on the Scratch site and select the "?" in the top right-hand corner for the walk-through tutorial.
Option 2: Under the "Getting Started with Scratch" intro tutorial discussed above, there are a variety of other tutorials you can choose from to learn various animation and game-creation techniques. Choose one of these intermediate options (or multiple) to become more familiar with Scratch's various features. |
Tutorial #2Intermediate. Choose an existing animation/game created and shared on the Scratch "Explore Projects" page and re-mix it (alter it, improve it, add to it). Then, share your re-mixed project on the same page for others to explore and re-mix!
|
Tutorial #3Advanced. Make a multi-scened story using Scratch. Include, at minimum, three scenes -- an opening scene (to introduce and set the stage for your story), a climax scene (to introduce the tension and conflict in the story) and a concluding scene (to resolve the conflict and wrap up your story). Also be sure to include on each page: movement, sound, loops, text and conditionals. When you are finished, share your story with the Scratch community.
